Gone is the Summer, nice, hot, lovely as it could be. Few changes to note here:
- got sacked from my job, so back to freedom of my self employement. End of June got told to sit down by the director first thing in the morning of a very hot friday.
My work (or my attitude towards it) wasn't welcomed anymore so I was given notice to just go home on a full pay for a month, then sacked. Not too bad, that day was 35C in London so packed my stuff and drove back straight to .. the local off-licence to buy booze and celebrate my freedom in my garden, sun tanning and drinking my sorrow away; - went to Ireland, Westport for a friend's wedding. Nine place, nice people;
- done Ocktober Fest for the first time with my lifetime mates. What an experience...
- fully devoted to Proxmox servers. Got 2 two now, but not (yet) linked in a node. One for all the web stuff, the other running a Proxmox Backup Server (PBS), a Zoneminder instance for the CCTV, and a Home Assistance VM to play with my lights. Today I managed to close the rack, after switching and swapping HDDs and very happy with the result. As soon a Ghost self-hosted will become Activity-Pub enabled, will write a few posts on my home lab experience.
